The Oscars have barely gone by but it's that time of year again, time to reach into the dark depths of the back of the wardrobe grope around a bit and drag out the black tie outfit ... award season has arrived.

The annual North West Regional Construction Awards 2009 will be taking place on Thursday 21st of May, 2009. They celebrate the best of the North West construction industry which takes in amongst other places both Liverpool and Manchester.

The event should not only be a showcase for some of the most innovative projects and practices of the year, but also an excuse to dress up, have some nice food and drink copious amounts of champagne.

The categories for awards this year include -
Skills and Education Company Award
Local People, Local Jobs Award
Places for People Award
Environmental Sustainability Award
Business Award
Heritage Award
Cheshire, Warrington & Wirral Best Practice Club Award
